Overview:
Along one of the busiest streets in the Chicagoland area stands this family owned restaurant that serves up authentic Mexican style dishes that will leave you wanting to come back for more. Located along Route 20 in Roselle, El Burrito Fantastico is your local stop for a good burrito with some of the best service you will receive.

My Experience:
Around the time I was in middle school, my dad, my old football coach, and I would visit the place almost every month or so after football practices on Friday nights. I would consistently get the same thing every time I went, which was 3 steak tacos with cilantro and onions, with a side of rice. However, it wasn’t until recently that I had started to order the dish they are most known for: their Giant Burrito.
In my most recent venture over there, I decided to document my order so that I can include it in this blog and hopefully influence you all to visit this place, because this is one of, if not my favorite place to get authentic Mexican food in the area.
First off, they have my favorite chips and salsa to have as an appetizer, with the salsa verde being my personal favorite. The chips have the perfect level of saltiness to it and have the perfect level of crunch to it without it being too hard to eat. Then for the entree, the giant burrito I had included the following: steak, lettuce, tomato, onion, avocado, and rice. The amount of flavor that was in my mouth is one I have had dreams about. Dare I say: out of all the times I have been there, this might have been the best this has ever tasted for me. Every bite was filled with such a great taste, and the burrito didn’t fall apart like it does at most other places.
Overall, I highly recommend this place is you are looking for a good bite of Mexican food (and not to mention, the prices are fairly reasonable as well, meaning you won’t break the bank for a good bite).
